The changes in top management of the Santander continue. Only 12 days after the group announced that the chairman of Santander Totta, Antonio Horta Osorio, Francisco Gomez Roldan will replace as chief executive of Abbey, and one month since Banesto undertake a thorough reorganization of its dome, the bank has again to carry out another restructuring, although it smaller.
Pedro Mateache Sacristan, director general of the media division of Santander just left the group. Mateache in Santander was just less than three years. It depended Jose Maria Fuster, head of technology and operations of the group, Jose Luis Alciturri, deputy director general in charge of human resources of Santander, and Serafin Mendez, director general of buildings.
